Getting started with Dify
- From Agents, click Create then Create from Blank and assign a name, optional role, and description, or import a DSL file.
- Configure agent capabilities manually or interactively in Build mode by chatting to set up skills, files, and environment variables.
- Pick a chat model that supports strong reasoning and native tool calling.
- Define the agent's prompt specifying persona, goals, approach, tool and file usage, and desired output format.
- Add tools, skills packages, reference files, or environment variables under Advanced Settings.
- Switch to Preview mode to test the agent end to end with chat features before going live.
- Publish the agent to make that version live and deploy it as a hosted app, API, or tool.
