Getting started with ActiveCampaign

  1. Request a developer sandbox account if you have not already done so.
  2. Log into your sandbox account, click on Apps on the left navigation menu, and then click App Studio.
  3. Click Build a New App to begin creating your application.
  4. Enter a name for your application, provide your email address, answer the remaining form questions, check the Terms and Conditions agreement box, and click Submit.
  5. Click on the Home tab and click Start Building to define your App Configuration.
  6. Click Test app in sandbox to load and debug your app using real time logs once configuration validation passes.
  7. Submit your app for review from App Studio Home or the Configuration Toolbox, then click Release App from the App Studio Home once approved.

Tips

  • You are required to resolve all validation errors flagged in the Configuration Toolbox before testing or submitting your app.
  • If integrations are set up using a specific user's API credentials, deleting that user will break the integrations because there is no default account API.
  • If you need to make changes to your configuration after submitting for review, you can withdraw your app in App Studio Home and re submit when ready.
