- Log into your Bland account and view the Let’s get this agent talking checklist in your dashboard.
- Click New agent in the top right corner and choose Blank agent.
- Give your agent a name and a job, then click Create agent.
- Test your conversation by clicking Talk in browser or entering a number in Your phone number and selecting Call me.
- Move your work into the production environment by completing the checklist's promote step.
- Open the conversation view to review the transcript, recording, and agent turn decisions.
- Go to Dispatch to attach a phone number so other people can reach the agent.
Tips
- An agent that has not been promoted to production cannot take calls from anyone else, as building, saving, and talking in the browser leave it unpublished.
- If Talk in browser does nothing, check your browser's address bar to allow microphone permissions and click the button again.
- Do not build on the example agent Norma that comes in your new workspace; select your own agent from the agent list instead.
